I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Applied Mathematics at NUI Galway, where I am working on modelling soft active materials. In particular, I am interested in modelling instability and wave propagation in electro-active and magneto-active materials.

Research Interests

My research is focused on soft active materials, such as magneto-active and electro-active materials. In particular, I investigate instabilities and wave propagation in active materials by developing and analysing mathematical models. I am interested in both theoretical and numerical aspects and use various tools from the theories of continuum mechanics and nonlinear elasticity as part of my research.
